La fugida

The Escape is a documentary that explores the history of several cases of child sexual abuse committed by Jesuit priests at two prominent schools in Barcelona. For over thirty years, members and teachers of the Society of Jesus abused boys and girls under the protection of the congregation’s educational system. All the cases share the same pattern: the abusers were shielded and transferred to Bolivia by the institution itself, where they continued to act with impunity.

For this project, we not only conceptualized and designed the documentary poster, but also took charge of producing the visual elements that compose it. From the set design to the photoshoot, we paid attention to every detail to shape a final image consistent with the stories it tells. A cross-disciplinary effort that combines art direction, production, and graphic design.

NEXT PROJECT

Volkswagen flipbook

“This project began to take shape during my years as a Graphic Design student at Llotja, in Barcelona.
At that time, I dreamed of one day creating an ad for Volkswagen. So I took advantage of an assignment in the Advertising course, where we were only asked to make a storyboard for an imaginary commercial, to create this little story.
For many years, it remained just a flipbook stored in a drawer. With the arrival of the pandemic, I decided to bring it back to life.
I scanned all the pages and turned them into the frames of a short film. With the help of friends who collaborated on sound editing and voiceovers, the project finally came to life.
Here you can see the final result and part of the process.”
